The Hague, Netherlands - A Nice Alternative To Amsterdam

When the idea of the trip to Holland, probably the first that comes to mind is Amsterdam. With its canals, museums, bars and cafes and even the possibility that the red light district, being curious about a great place for a weekend of fun.

In Amsterdam is the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is the seat of government in The Hague. The Hague (Den Haag) is the province of South Holland. This is an attractive place to visit withwide avenues, mansions, shopping malls, shops and of course the Netherlands Parliament.

Near North Sea, offers sandy beaches for sunbathing and events are held several times a year at the resort near Scheveningen. Of fireworks in the North Sea Jazz Festival, tourists and fishing in the Sea Life Centre, there is something for everyone.

The Hague has thirty museums. The Mauritshuis collection 'consists ofMasterpieces of the Golden Age of Holland, including paintings by Vermeer, Rembrandt and Potter. The Municipal Museum displays a large collection of modern art. The Panorama Mesdag is a unique masterpiece in itself - a cylindrical painting more than 14 meters high and 120 feet in circumference.
